This route takes you through EL Raval, The Gothic Quarter and EL Born, where you’ll gallery hop around the city’s best contemporary art spaces and discover its most emblematic neighbourhoods in a unique way.
In El Raval you’ll visit a contemporary centre housed in the chapel of Europe’s oldest hospital complex.
Then it’s on to the Gothic Quarter where you’ll discover the talent of the cities emerging artists in a local gallery housed in the building where Joan Miro was born. You’ll also visit the neighbourhood’s modern and contemporary sculptures hiding amongst the city’s most historic buildings.
The last neighbourhood you’ll visit is El Born to discover some of the city’s coolest contemporary art spaces where you’ll go behind the scenes, speak to gallery owners and visit spaces closed to the public.
Then, you’ll head to a local bodega to try some Spanish wines from the barrel, the perfect way to end the tour.
